It's easy to be baffled by the process of choosing a preschool for your little one, especially if you're new to the area! DMC Members get a head start with our detailed Directory that profiles every half-day preschool program we know of in Durham.
For each preschool, we list...
- Address and full contact information
- Hours and days of operation
- How to register
- Tuition and other fees
- Position on potty training
- Staff-Student ratios
- Lunch program, if any
- The school's philosophy, year founded, and religious affiliation if applicable
- Accreditation and ratings
Questions & Answers
The Preschool Directory also includes a list of questions you'll want to ask when you contact prospective schools. In addition, DMC members have access to our Preschool FAQ's List, with answers to the questions moms ask most about finding a preschool.
Mothers of younger children (ages two and under) may also want to request our list of Parents Morning Out programs.
