About Us

The Durham Mothers Club is a support network just for moms in Durham, North Carolina.

The club was founded in 1988 with the motto of Friendship - Support - Education. We are proud to provide all three and more to our members and we hope you will benefit from our motto too!

Whether you are a new mother, new to the Triangle, or just looking for some fun activities, the DMC has plenty to offer you.

Why Join DMC?

The DMC currently has about 150 fellow moms as members in and around Durham. Our members range from full time at home moms to full time career moms and everything in between.

Join us to take advantage of our many members-only activities and resources, such as our age-matched playgroups, online discussion forums, and our coveted Preschool/ Parents Morning Out Directory.

There is a 30-day free trial membership and then membership is just $13 per year.

The DMC would like to thank the following sponsors for their generous support of this group.

Durham Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics: Dr. Rob's practice is a unique dental office where the practice treatment philosophy concentrates on the individual needs of each child and the doctors and staff provide care in a calm and compassionate environment.

Confident Birth Support: Katie Jackson provides a positive voice, information and the tools you need to help you feel calm, informed and have a positive birth experience.

Usborne Books and More: Cindy Honickman will help you find the perfect book for your child or for children you are buying for. Usborne offers a wonderful variety of fun and educational books for kids of all ages.

Tinkergarten: Kate Macartney's classes are fun and educational outdoor classes for kids (6-18 months or 18 months - 5 years old) and their caregivers where we learn, play and explore outside.
